Department of Paediatrics is a branch of medicine that deals with medical care for infants, children and adolescents. Pediatricians are called to provide a variety of services which include attending the labour, diagnosing illness, prescribing treatment, counselling, vaccination, etc. They are involved in monitoring the child’s physical, mental and social development.
